The Mito Cherry Blossom Festival is held at Lake Senba, located below Kairakuen Garden.
Lake Senba has a circumference of approximately 3 km, and around 700 cherry trees line its shores.
During the festival, the cherry blossoms are illuminated at night, allowing visitors to enjoy hanami from morning until evening.
Experience the beauty of Mito in spring, adorned with cherry blossoms to your heart’s content.

At “Kobun Café” by Lake Senba, a Limited-time cherry blossom menu will be offered.

 

A refreshing lemonade soda made with homemade lemonade from domestically grown lemons, paired with sakura jelly.

A spring-inspired café latte made with sakura syrup, espresso extracted from our special blend, and steamed milk, finished with a touch of domestically sourced sakura powder.

A spring-inspired sweet croissant sandwich, made with a croissant kneaded with salted sakura and filled with sweet red bean paste and whipped cream.
