Azaleas at Kairakuen Garden

Four Seasons in Mito

While Kairakuen Garden is famous for its plum blossoms, it is also a stunning spot for azaleas.
After the cherry blossom season in mid-April, around 380 azalea shrubs―including Kirishima azaleas and Japanese enkianthus―come into full bloom, adding vivid colors to Kobuntei’s inner garden and Miharashi Square (the grounds with a nice view) , creating a picturesque landscape.
Please enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kairakuen Garden.
